Welcome to the Tuscan Association of Oregon!

Thanks to everyone who was on the line for our Zoom chat on July 26!

If you’re getting more comfortable with virtual gatherings, here are a couple suggested by our friend Angela Zagarella. Click on the links to learn more and to register…

Aug. 8: Meet Italian filmmaker and activist Fred Kudjo Kuwornu.

Aug. 19: Caffe  Culturale explores multiculturalism in Italian music. Join Portland’s newest virtual Italian community for a lively discussion.

The Tuscan Association is on hiatus from in-person gatherings because of the health emergency. We hope to resume with live programs later in the year. Chances are good that we will do something in July … probably another virtual meeting via Zoom. Stay tuned!

Thanks to Tony Belluschi who joined us on Feb. 16 to talk about his father, famed Italian-American architect Pietro  Belluschi. Tony also talked about his own architectural career. We also walked through St. Philip Neri Church, a Pietro Belluschi design which was consecrated in 1950.

Sign up for our free newsletter here. Here is the current issue. Our Association’s bylaws are here.

See the Round-up page for details of previous meetings.
